Question:Does this rot over time ?
Answer: I bought this tarp half a year ago,it's still strong and blue as new so far,it's much thicker than others I've bought, seems really durable and I think it would take a lot of wear and tear.
Question:Does it degrade after at least one winter and summer as I need this to last?
Answer: I've now had mine 6 months through last winter to cover garden furniture - It is water proof, but due to high winds a several holes & wear has appeared where it has rubbed on corners/edges, so consequently I've had to repair with gaffer tape. Would not buy again.
Question: I have a pool table in the back yard would the rain soak threw it
Answer: No the rain will not soak through it. Just tie it down well using some nylon rope (not supplied) and it will do a great job keeping your table dry. It's the best tarp I ever bought. Robert Bournemouth.
